JOURNEY's END

All too soon, we come to journey's end and we bid sayonara to Japan - with friendships made and renewed, and images and impressions cherished as fond memories.
(Note: we should really be bidding 'itte mairimasu' to Japan which is a temporary goodbye and means we're leaving but will return rather than 'sayonara' which has a connotation that the parting is likely to be long. In this sense it is akin to the French 'adieu' - all explained in Japanese Language Insights.)
