Hiroshima is now completely rebuilt except for the one remaining building left as a monument to the A-bomb.


Kurashiki is a town with an olden time atmosphere, boasting lots of culture, arts and crafts. The Ohara museum has a rich collection of Western art. Kurashiki was an old merchants town and some of the remaining old rice granaries have been converted into houses.
